Open Call for Artists for the 74th Annual Spring Show!
May 9th – May 30th 2008
Associated Artists of Butler County (AABC) are pleased to announce a call for artists for the 74th Annual Spring Show to open in The Rittelmann Gallery. The show will be held from May 9th – May 30th 2008. AABC members may take advantage of early entry special. The Spring Show is un-themed, artwork of any genre will be accepted; all artwork must be original.
SPRING SHOW DEADLINE EXTENDED TO MAY 3RD.
The opening reception for the 74th Annual Spring Show is on Friday, May 9th from 7 –9 pm at The Art Center on 344 South Main Street in Butler, PA 16001. The opening reception is free and open to the public; light refreshments will be served.
Judges prizes and monetary awards will be presented during the May 9th opening. Best of Show Award is $250, sponsored by Mary Phillips.

About The Judge: Kathleen Zimbicki
Kathleen Zimbicki was the founder and director of Studio Z Gallery in Pittsburgh for 27 years, and served on the board of directors for The Associated Artists of Pittsburgh for over ten years.
The town of Butler is located just 35 minutes north of Pittsburgh along Route 8 in Butler County. It is easily accessible via the Pennsylvania Turnpike.
