We need someone to manage requirements, write product specifications keep our engineers on the right track and our projects running smoothly. We need a talented, experienced, flexible person, who can get their hands dirty now, but also can help grow our company and grow with our company. The Product Manager is responsible for both product planning and product management. This includes help defining and following the product development process, managing the product throughout the product lifecycle, and working closely with engineering and manufacturing to deliver winning products. The job also includes ensuring that the product supports the company's overall strategy and goals. The Product Manager will: 1.Help develop world class products! 2.Refine the product development process 3.Help manage the product roadmap 4.Work with designers, prototypers, and manufacturers, both internal and external, to bring products to market 5.Gather input and write the market requirements documents 6.Write the design specifications and coordinate with engineering 7.Keep the product on track and on schedule 8.Understand the competitive landscape 9.Manage product lines with budgets and track actual costs and revenues Required experience and knowledge 1.Minimum of 7 years experience as a Product Manager or Product Marketing Manager in a technical field 2.Demonstrated success in bringing consumer products to market using a structured product development process 3.Experience working with electrical engineers and manufacturers 4.Excellent written and verbal communication skills 5.Bachelor's degree in engineering (MBA preferred)
