School psychologists will provide a wide variety of services to help students succeed academically, socially, and emotionally. Required Qualifications

As part of the ADL’s regional office in Cleveland, Ohio, the Assistant Project Director will oversee all aspects of regional early childhood educational training including The Miller Early Childhood Initiative of A WORLD OF DIFFERENCE Institute (The Initiative) and related educational initiatives. Overall focus of the position is to market, coordinate, adapt and deliver local training programs tailored to the local early childhood community. Responsibilities may also include: recruiting, training and supervising a cadre of per-diem trainers; networking and relationship development with early childhood educators within the community; participating in task forces and committees; managing the budget, grant preparation and proposals; assisting with fundraising; other activities as required.

Learning Point Associates has contracted with the Ohio Department of Education to conduct classroom observations to measure the quality of early language and literacy instruction within two statewide preschool programs.
Requirements
In this position, the site visitor will work as a temporary employee of Learning Point Associates on an evaluation project. Site visits will consist of classroom observations and brief 10 minute teacher interviews in preschool classrooms using the Early Language & Literacy Classroom Observation (ELLCO) Toolkit. Following each observation, the site visitor will confer with his or her partner observer on ratings and evidence statements and will be required to submit data into a web-based data-management system. The total time paid for conducting the observation, conferring with partner observer, and submitting data is two hours per observation.
Travel mileage to scheduled sites/schools will be reimbursed. Additional time for travel will be paid if travel time to an observation site exceeds two hours round-trip. Site visits for this round will be conducted from January-May 2010.
Training is required and provided.
