Part-Time NCLEX Instructors
• We are currently looking for outgoing, dynamic nurse educators who are passionate about helping new nursing graduates succeed on their NCLEX exam.

A recent graduate of CWRU with two engineering degrees, I have personally approached Math/Calc/Science/Econ in interesting perspective and hopefully can replicate the same experience for others' learning purpose!
I am also a first generation immigrant from Taiwan (yes, my mom played 'spin the map' and I have been 'prep-school boardin' around US since 15) so I am also interested in teaching mandarin, or business consulting related to Asia/Pacific-Rim sourcing.
I am not sure about the going rate for tutoring, therefore here is my economics of my rate plan:
1. It's a material you have on hand (let's say 12th grade math/ 10th grade algebra), then I probably only need a hour before each session, and maybe a hour correcting HW.
Therefore giving the prep-work a $20dollar/hr, and another $15 dollar/hr for class time. A weekly 2 hour session will come down to a total of $40+$30= $ 70 for 2 hours.
But if it's straight easy, it could be just $30/hr for 2 hours. (This is what I meant, if I typed 'to be determined')
2. It's a sort of a open-ended learning experience. ( I tutored a 42yr-old TW chemical plant lead engineer on 'professional communication' using my courseware from CWRU and homegrown ppts during my stay in Taiwan, summer 07)
This is a case where we need to set-up the scope of our learning objectives, and to set-up an aggressive research-hourly rate for my research efficiency purpose.
What I mean by research efficiency is: we might elect the scope to be covered in two-hour session, and allocated two-hour for my prep work. Therefore, my incentive is to include all the learning objectives in those two-hours, or otherwise any extra time i spend on it will be coming pro-bono from me.
