You will be expected to work both in the office and out in the field as required to test the transformers used in Utility Power Distribution Centers to determine if they meet the specifications (voltage output) that they were designed to. You will test LOAD / NO-LOAD, Current Losses and other testing as required.
You will be employed a a Permanent Full Tie Employee with a starting salary of $65,000.00 per year with benefits.

Their Energy Services Team is currently seeking a Commissioning Agent to liaison between contractors, designers and customers to develop commissioning plans, write and install commissioning specifications into bid documents, and review bid documents to offer potential improvements and/or offer comment on projected energy consumption.
Project tasks include project intent verification, basis of design documentation, design reviews, construction site visits, shop drawings and O&M manual submittal reviews, commissioning issue tracking, TAB verification, and functional performance testing.
Responsibilities:
- Attending/participating in meetings throughout the construction cycle
- Develop functional testing for contractors
- Developing additional business
Qualifications include:
- Bachelors degree in Engineering; Mechanical preferred
- 3+ years relevant experience with a strong mechanical and HVAC background
- Registered FE/EIT (preferred)
- Knowledge of LEED guidelines (preferred)
- Knowledge of ASHRAE guidelines (preferred)
- Ability to review mechanical, electrical and plumbing design is required.
- Strong background with Microsoft Office
- Excellent communication and customer relation skills
- Desire to expand business opportunities
Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering (Masters Preferred)
Active P.E (AK licensing or ability to obtain a plus)
LEED AP preferred but not required
15+ years progressive experience in consulting or A/E/C industry
The Design Engineer will be responsible to generate preliminary engineering designs, equipment proposals, and equipment submittals while working directly with clients and the sales force to evaluate engineering solutions and develop application strategies to meet customer requirements. The Design Engineer needs to be versatile to work within many custom situations and have strong analytical skills to dissect an issue and make cost effective modifications. Since there are times when the Design Engineer will be in front of the client, strong communication and presentation skills are a must. The majority of the Design Engineer’s day will be spent at their workstation. Minimal travel may be required based on the needs of the project.
