| The Greater Cleveland Writers Meet up Group November Meetup
Tuesday, November 3, 2009 at 7:00PM We'll introduce new visitors, and do a quick recap of what every one is working on. Bring samples of your 'work' to share, or a question, a struggle, .... this group has a ton of experience, or at least a ton of empathy. Also, this is NOT just for children's fiction. Any writer is welcome, and genre. Sci-Fi, Fiction, Fantasy, Technical, Non-Fiction, you name it.... We will stay in the main area of books, but can also discuss freelancing to magazines, zines, blogging for fun and profit, you name it. Create a 30 second elevator speech on your work, and why some one should publish it.... and where? If you don't know what an elevator speech is, that's ok, once you join you can access an elevator speech template in our files section! Most importantly, what are you willing to do about getting published? Or what does being published mean to you. You'd be surprised how many writers never intend to make money from their writing, but just want to be published.
