Responsibilities
1. Coordinating all aspects of meetings and events, including travel arrangements, visa applications, accommodation, site selection, etc
2. Forecasting and controlling expenditures
3. Developing and adhering to the budget approved by the Executive Director
4. Consulting with vendors, negotiating contracts and reconciling invoices
5. Contracting with keynote speakers and workshop presenters
6. Securing and contracting meeting space and lodging
7. Adhering to conference planning schedule, policies and guidelines
8. Contracting with caterers, A/V specialists and other vendors in a timely manner
9. Administrative tasks such as filing, note taking, and pricing
10. FedEx shipments- tracking and coordinating
11. Inventory control
12. HR duties such as employee relations, recruiting, employee benfits, employee management
