<description><![CDATA[Seasoned Human Resource professional experienced in employee relations and talent management processes. We are seeking a Sr. Manager of Field Human resources who will be a strategic partner for the Division management team. The ideal candidate will have experience partnering with all levels of the organization, developing succession plans, and leading the implementation of talent management processes in a field environment. This position is field based and can reside anywhere within the division, which covers the states of VT, NY, PA, NJ, DE, Eastern MD, KY, IN, OH, and MI. <br>
<br>
Qualifications <br>
Knowledge of overall Human Resource functions to include recruiting, employee relations, training and development. <br>
Extensive knowledge of state and federal law <br>
Ability to mediate between employees during conflict resolution <br>
Ability to achieve measurable results through collaboration and influence <br>
Exceptional planning, coordination, project management and implementation skills <br>
Advanced ability to communicate with employees at all levels (both verbal and written communication skills) <br>
Strong presentation skills <br>
<br>
Travel for this position is extensive: 50-75% <br>
<br>
Work Experience and/or Education <br>
Minimum 5 years experience: 5-7 years in Human Resources Function, with a concentration on Employee Relations and Succession/Talent Management is required, preferably in the retail industry. <br>
Bachelor's degree is required. Degree in Human Resources is preferred. <br>
Proven track record in building partnerships with internal and external business partners <br>
PHR or SPHR preferred. <br>

 Tasks<br>
<br>
Develop and Maintain HR Compliance Knowledge<br>
<br>
o *Begins to develop a current knowledge of HR Laws and Regulations.<br>
<br>
o *Keeps abreast of new developments in the HR field.<br>
<br>
o *Develops a working knowledge of HR information databases and searchable resources.<br>
<br>
o *Keeps abreast of Document retention requirements<br>
<br>
*Responsible for reception and telephone duties, including signing for front office packages<br>
<br>
o Track progress, deadlines, and priorities of all projects<br>
<br>
o *Prepare Word, Excel and PowerPoint documents<br>
<br>
o Proofread HR documents including audits, marketing information, and handbooks.<br>
<br>
o *Ordering of office supplies<br>
<br>
o *Prepare all packages to be mailed FedEx, Priority Mail, UPS, Airborne Express,<br>
<br>
and DHL<br>
<br>
o Act as a liaison between The HR Team, Inc. and shipping companies to track<br>
<br>
packages and order supplies<br>
<br>
o Daily changing of the server tape, and cleaning the server when necessary<br>
<br>
o Refill paper in printer, copier, and fax. Refill any supplies<br>
<br>
o Copy and mail out invoices on the 16th and end of the month<br>
<br>
o Clean up around the office<br>
<br>
o May be responsible for making meeting and travel arrangements<br>
<br>
o *Ensure Career Builder and Monster job packs are current with available job ads<br>
<br>
o *Audit HR Plus, Washington Post, and Baltimore Sun invoices<br>
<br>
Manage Pre-Employment Processes<br>
<br>
o Track cost and effectiveness of media outlets for job postings<br>
<br>
o *Post new positions on various websites including Monster.com, Career<br>
<br>
Builder.com, Washington Post.com, and HotJobs.com<br>
<br>
o *Sort incoming resumes and logs them into appropriate tracking spreadsheets<br>
<br>
o *Complete and mail out regret letters<br>
<br>
o *Coordinate candidate interviews, drug screens, physicals, and testing<br>
<br>
o *Send background checks to HR Plus and save results when they are returned<br>
<br>
o Complete and mail out offer letters<br>
<br>
Manage Client Satisfaction<br>
<br>
o *Maintain a satisfied level of customer service with clients both internal and external.<br>
<br>
o *Properly handle client requests through responsiveness, follow-up, and escalation.<br>
<br>
o Communicate your availability through voice mail greetings and email out-of-office<br>

assistant.<br>
