The Youth Connections Coordinator reports to the Program Manager of Youth and Families and works collaboratively with Adoption Network Cleveland staff, Board of Directors, youth constituents, and community partners to identify needs of youth in Permanent Custody and to implement avenues of support, advocacy, and education to further permanency and healing to those youth.<br>

Responsibilities<br>
•	Designs and evaluates recruitment strategies to increase community participation   in Mentoring Program – specifically by creating and helping to implement a well developed and detailed plan to recruit mentors to meet stated goals.<br>
•	Leads the design and operations of Mentor Training and orientation. Conducts assessments of youth and mentors. Evaluates mentor and youth relationships and provides support and advocacy to mentors when needed. <br>
•	Coordinates all referrals to the mentoring program and works with the Program Manager to either assess these referrals or assign them to be assessed by interns associated with the program. Works with CCDCFS to obtain referrals.<br>
•	Works with Program Manager of Youth and Families to plan, recommend, and implement policies, procedures, and protocols necessary to further the objectives of the programs and services being provided. <br>
•	Provides leadership to the Digital Me planning process. Coordinating filming uses innovative ideas and techniques to fully utilize this powerful youth recruitment tool.  <br>
•	Assists with completing required reports for grants; ensures compliance with federal fiscal and program requirements; ensures compliance with county  and state adoption regulations; organizes and maintains paperwork, records and files of the program to ensure full and proper reporting. Assists with referral tracking system for Child-Centered Recruitment work; documents minutes for project meetings and planning sessions. Enhances interdepartmental communication and cooperation.<br>
•	Participate in cross training and facilitation of other ANC programs, as needed. <br>
•	Maintains and fosters positive collaborative working relationships with CCDCFS and other outside partners<br>

Qualifications<br>
•	Masters Degree preferred, minimum Bachelors Degree<br>
•	Current State of Ohio social work licensure<br>
•	Proven leadership with diverse staff, youth population, and agency partners<br>
