I have a rabbit hutch and we no longer have rabbits, i just powerwashed it a few minutes ago (so it is wet in the pics) it is a good size, apprx 5-6 ft long, about 4-5 ft high ground to top, actual living space 5-6 ft long, 1 - 1 1/2 ft deep, and 1 - 1/2 ft wide. Has covered back and top, front and sides open, front door opens and does the entire top of cage, my husband made it and to my request and made locks for the doors that open, so you can use it with or without a lock of some sort to ensure they are safe outdoors.
Asking $35 With summer coming you can also just use it for fresh air, does not need to be permenant home for your rabbits. Also if you really want to you can enclose the bottom with screen and make a ramp from the top to the ground so they can enjoy fresh grass!!

please help!! My aunt and uncles house burnt down yesterday in Eastlake. Three of their loved cats died in this fire. My Uncle ran into the burning house to save as many animals as possible ans was able to get the dogs out! He calapsed after exiting the house from smoke intilation. He is doing ok now but the three dogs we taken to a family members house in kirtland on 306, they were outside going to the bathroom when 2 of the dogs jumped the fence. We are unable to find them but think they may be trying to get back home to eastlake. Unfortunetly I can not post pictures of the dogs as they were all mlost in the fire!! Molly is a doberman pinchure mix, all black, medium build with large ears.She is about 2 years old and was in the house when it was buring and was given oxegen by the firefighters yesterday. She was doing OK last night but needs to get back with her family. Mindie is of large build, tan with short to meduim hair. Shem has a scare on her face and is about 10 years old.Both theses dogs are very loved and my uncles family can not handle anymore loss. My 9 year old cousin is devestated about the dealth of his three cats and wants his dogs back with him!! Please call with any information or possible leads day or night!! Very large wire mesh cage for sale. Measures 3ft wide by 3 ft deep by 6 ft high. Would be a nice large cage for a small animal that loves to climb. Made of galvanized stainless steel so it doesn't rust. The bottom is just wire mesh so I would use a piece of plexiglass on the bottom (Home Depot sells and cuts it to fit cheaply) and plexiglass strips up the side to contain the bedding. Asking $75. It's folded down and stored outside right now. I used zip ties to put it all together and that works very well. (the metal crimps were a pain in the butt to use and didn't make it very portable)
Could be used as a bird cage but since it is galvanized I wouldn't recommend it for a large bird who could chew on the sides. If you'd like it for a bird please read the following link:

Thanks to everybody who wrote back and reply to my ad. Well I called the brookpark clinic but they do not accept payment plans and they want the money right there in which I can't. I was told that the humane society will put dogs to sleep so they don't suffer (don't want to do that) and someone mail me about a clinic (westpark animal hospital) that would accept the plan. I applied for the care credit but I have to wait till monday for the application to process and I had someone tell me to buffer aspirin and give it to him. But I don't know if that would harm him....any opinions. I took him a bath and he drank alot of water but he won't eat (I think is because he lost his front teeth on this accident) but otherwise he is moving around in his little bed. I am calling all the places you guys are reffering me to and thank you for caring.

I have a sweet female cat, around 6 years old that needs a new, very special home. As far as her breed goes - a safe bet is "domestic longhair" but if you are familiar with the Norwegian Forrest cats, she is a spitting image, and I am almost certain that she is at least part Norwegian Forrest Cat. She is a big girl - about 18 lbs, very shy and skittish around new people or loud noises, but once she warms up to you, she is a total lap cat, a real lover with a loud purr. She is also very lazy - she lays around and sleeps on the couch, the bed, or some warm window nook. She likes to go outside in the sun and watch the birds. Because she is so shy, we named her "Fraidy" .

Her history:

She was adopted from the humane society by my mom's neighbors years ago. According to them, she ran away. My husband and I found her, nearly starving, filthy and matted sneaking into my mom's house to steal food from her cat's dish in the fall of 2005. I felt sorry for her and spent weeks coaxing her out of hiding with food until I gained her trust. I took her to the vet, had her groomed, and we adopted her. Later we discovered she had a microchip and found her original owners who gave us their blessing to keep her.

The problem:

Make no mistake --we love this cat. She gets plenty of attention, Wellness cat food, regular trips to the vet and groomer, and premium catnip and toys - but the problem is this: we have other pets (dogs and cats) and she is very territorial. She feels threatened by the other other animals and has been peeing all over the house to mark her territory. I have done everything - used Feliway, cleaned with Nature's miracle enzymatic cleaner, gotten extra litter boxes, fed her in a separate location, and had her to the vet to check for urinary tract problems. None of it has helped. I am almost 100% certain this is a territory issue because she pees in places the other cats or dogs like to sleep - on the bathmat, on the dog beds, on the sofa in the sunroom, and the final straw - on our living room couch and on our BED. This used to happen only rarely, but it has suddenly gotten much more frequent and I now spend so much money and time cleaning and washing that it is driving me mad. I just can't take it anymore.

The solution:

I know that description doesn't bode well for finding her a new home - I mean, I don't expect there are too many people out there who want a cat who is going to pee on things - but I really feel this problem will disappear if she is in a home where she is the only pet - and I just can't give her that. So I am hoping there is somebody out there who is looking for a big, fat, lazy, lap cat to be their one and only pet. Hopefully someone who has a backyard where she can go out and lay in the sun and watch birds (she is to slow to catch them, trust me!), or at least some nice big windows. I think she would be a fine outdoor farm cat as long as she had a warm indoor spot to sleep and could even be a pretty good mouser - though I wouln't get your hopes too high (she is lazy)- and although she uses a litterbox (Most of the time!), she seems happiest going outdoors to the flower beds.

She is fixed, and has had all her shots. She is in good health (FIV and FLV negative), except for some asthma that seems to act up from time to time. She has long hair, so needs some regular brushing, but we find keeping her shaved helps her to feel better and cuts down on the shedding and need for brushing. She also loves catnip, and swatting at a toy on a string. She is a really sweet, sweet cat, and I am confident in the right environment she can flourish. I really want her to go to a loving home, so I won't give her up to just anybody, and I would agree to a trial period so you could bring her back if didn't work out.

My dog got hit by a car and I have been calling to all pet clincs to see if they accept any payment plans but they refuse to and all the others are closed till monday. Does anyone know where I can find a clinic that would be open and best of all accept payment plans. I have no credit cards and no way to aford the bill. The dog is not crying when I touch him but I think his front teeth are missing and his leg is hurt, he walked from the corner to my house limping (I cannot believe nobody stopped to check on him....you cruel people who do that) but he made it to my house. I only have a few bucks on my pocket and I am willing to use it for him to get better. PLEASE if anyone knows anywhere I can take him that would accept the payment plan let me know, he's doing ok but I don't want to risk it, I want him to get seen by a vet. THANKS!!

Up or adoption is "Sable", 6 yrs old, totally black, chubby kitty. She has an average personality. Likes to be around people but is not comfortable being picked up too much. Sable is pure black. She is neutered however does have all of her claws. She is very good about using her scratching board and does not bother the furniture or anything else. She uses the litterbox with any issues and has never had an "accident". She comes with her food dispensers, food, 2 covered litter boxes, litter, toys, scratching board and large carrier. She is great around other cats however I have never had her around a dog, so I am unsure how she would be. She is a very curious cat, loves to run and play. She sits at the window for hours watching birds.

We adopted a 7 month old cat from the pound around Christmas time. She was great, the perfect little kitty. Then we decided we'd get one more cat so that she could have a playmate while we are gone from home. A couple months ago we got another cat. The new cat is just fine. The cat we got first is acting like a monster! She hides when the other cat is around and when he tries to make friends with her she becomes this wild hissing, growling, maniac. The worst part of all, and the part I need help with, she is refusing to use her own litter box! They each have their own separate box and the new cat faithfully uses his and has never used hers. I realize cats get attitudes and can act out this way. I've been a cat owner for all of my life but have only heard stories of this type of behavior, never experienced it. How do I make it stop? I'm on the verge of taking this cat back to the pound but I really don't want to have to do that as we did make the commitment to love her for life. Any help, and suggestions?

Short Story:
Mentor on the Lake - brown tabby mix with a ring tail, not yet full
grown, very sweet and affectionate disposition. I can't keep her, but
won't take her to a shelter - she's definitely a keeper.

Longer Story:
I found this cat Wednesday night, sitting in the middle of the road in
the rain, a little scuffed up and soaking wet, mildly stunned but
awake. She must have just got hit by a car. Or possibly tossed out of
one.

She's eating, drinking, using a litter box and generally doing just
fine. I haven't taken her to a vet, and can't really afford to, but
she seems to be over her injuries & doing fine. She's really sweet and
obviously belonged to someone, but I couldn't find out who (because it
was night time and rainy and not too many people answered their doors).

Not able to keep him anymore and am looking for a new home for him. $100 adoption fee. I want to make sure he will go to a home with a good family not for any other use. I want to make sure I can stay in touch with family he goes to to make sure he is doing well.. To good home only.

Not neutered because he is stud and not up to date on his vaccinations need some now and rabies is good till September. Knows sit, lay down, give paw and good on leash too. Is house broken. Must been in fenced yard or a lead. Can be trained very easily. Needs a new home because we are not home enough with him. Loves the care and attention

For some reason, I am unable to access the Lorain County Dog Kennel website. It will not load completely and says the page is not found. To adopt any of these wonderful canines, it is $14 for the dog license and $15 for the adoption fee.
The new owner will receive a $50 cirtificate for the spay/neuter.
