OH. House Bill #191 Monica Durban Law- A threat to all car enthusiasts

To any and every car enthusiast in Ohio:

Ohio Senate is trying to pass a rediculas bill that can cause anyone to lose their car and liscence very easily. This possible law prevents you from having Nitrous Oxide hooked up in your car. It also says that if an officer "thinks" you are accelerating faster than "normal," this law will take your car and it will get auctioned or crushed, and you lose your liscence for 1 year. There are no parameters or guidlines for what is considered "normal" acceleration, and is up to the officer to decide. You can be alone on a street, and if an officer says you were accelerating faster than what they think is "normal", you are screwed.

This law was created because some dumbass in a rice burner soposedly was racing earlier in the night, and when he was done, was driving too fast drunk on an on ramp, and hit a girl. I feel sorry for her, but the problem was that he WAS NOT racing when he hit her. He was DRUNK. So instead of the state stepping up the drunk driving laws, they decide to go after people who they say are accelerating faster than "normal". So in other words, if you accelerate faster than the little old lady in the huge land yacht and is so damn short that she looks through the steering wheel, you can lose your car completely, and your liscence for 1 year. But you can be pulled over for drunk driving a half a dozen times and still be able to drive. Makes a lot of sense doesn't it? This can also cause profiling. Cops will watch ever person who has a classic, race, or muscle car like a hawk, and if they are having a bad day and want to make $$ for the city, they can get you. Do you really think they will go after the soccer mom in the mini van putting on makeup, texting and yelling at her kids while driving? I think not. If you have a louder than stock exhaust on your car, you could sound like you are accelerating fast, when you are really not, and lose it all. If some punk teen in is riced out Honda Civic punces it at a light next to you, an officer can say you were racing when you weren't. If this law passes, there will be more people running from the cops and causing accidents and killing innocent people since they can lose it all. If they actually enforced the laws better, there would be no need to waste $$ to rewrite a law that already works. This law is not the answer and will cause a lot of problems. They are in it to make $$. Plain and simple. Pretty soon you won't be able to customize you car at all and will have to drive little shitbox econo hybrids. The next time you eat at a Mexcian owned/operated restaraunt take notice that there are no others working there i.e. whites, blacks, asians for that matter.

Help Stop the CORRUPTNESS of the Child support system.

We are presently demanding and want to be apart of a Bill that eliminates the "Silent re-emergence of Debtor's Prison." Also, we are seeking help with obtaining Public Awareness and changing Public Opinion. (Something that I will be talking with you about later in this letter.

Why are we just going after debtors' prison (guised as Contempt of Court), when there are so many other issues and laws that need reform?
Because of the suicides that are directly involved by men/women and children. Title IV-D, Bradley Amendment, Joint Custody, Parent Alienation all need to be addressed; THEY WILL BE. So, with the Urgency of Suicide as a 'real' significant problem that needs to be addressed now.

Another thing that I need to make aware of, for the new people, is if you post another comment, please do so in the Forum section. The reason why I ask this, is because the site is set up for signatures and comments on every page. I want to prevent any time delays, because I have to sort through duplicate signatures. I honestly need all my time and focus set upon our upcoming presentation to the Congressman.

Now let us address what help I need from you. WE NEED PUBLIC AWARENESS/OPINION.
This is so very important. The majority of citizens conjure up ignorant and prejudiced visions of 'Deadbeats' and haven't a clue about indigent servitude, Title IV-D (Federal funds for every dollar the Child Support Agency collects), Parent alienation, Child alienation, suicides, murders, Denial of U.S. Constitutional Rights and all the other HORRIFIC and UNTHINKABLE situations that 'ARE HAPPENING RIGHT NOW IN THIS COUNTRY!"

By getting people to this site and getting them to read the 'nightmares' that people are going through, we eliminate ignorance and prejudice. We obtain Public Awareness and change Public Opinion.... with that we loosen the hands of the Media and our Politicians so we may have the 'Power" for reform. (Presently according to our website statistics, the majority of people that come to our petition, spend in excess of 15 minutes and come back on an average of 1.88 per visit!)

Sparks of resistance in the labor movement..... (after a grim year for organized labor)

After A grim year for organized labor, those committed to class-struggle unionism can find a few good reasons to be cheerful this holiday season.

At the top of the list are strike victories by Philadelphia transit employees and University of Illinois graduate employees, a "no" vote on major contract concessions at Ford, and election victories by reformers in transit and Teamster union locals in New York City.

The grimness, of course, is the catastrophic wave of union concessions epitomized by the United Auto Workers' (UAW) agreement to eliminate tens of thousands of jobs, slash benefits and give up decades of work rules. Public sector employers have been slammed with unpaid furlough days and wage cuts of more that 10 percent, from California state workers to employees in scores of cities and counties across the U.S. In most cases, unions agreed to the cuts.

Even as the economy shows signs of recovery, traditionally strong unions in the private sector are still getting hammered. For example, the International Association of Machinists (IAM) recently agreed to the elimination of half of 2,000 union jobs at the Harley Davidson plant in York, Pa.

As the Wall Street Journal noted, "The contract institutes a new category of casual worker to be used on an as-needed basis, and who will earn about 30 percent less than first-tier production workers. The company eventually expects to employ about 250 casual and 750 full-time production workers." Current workers will get paid about $24 per hour, with new hires getting $19--casuals will earn just under $17.

With high unemployment, employers in both the public and private sector feel that they can extract such concessions without much worry that workers will fight back. The statistics seem to bear them out: According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, work stoppages involving 1,000 or more workers this year are down 95 percent over 2008--which is the lowest level since records were first kept in the 1940s.

Nevertheless, against the odds, some workers drew the line, fought back--and won.

IN PHILADELPHIA, Transport Workers Union (TWU) Local 234 went on strike for six days in November. In an era when the strike weapon is rarely used, Local 234 members used their power to shut down the city's rapid transit system, and prevailed, just as they did in strikes in 2005 and 1998. The strikers will have to pay more into their pension fund, which will eat into raises, but they turned back demands for major concessions.

One might expect a union local with a fighting tradition to break the pattern of defeat. But another high-profile strike victory came from unexpected quarters--the Graduate Employees Organization (GEO) at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

Although it represented only about half of the eligible graduate employees prior to its October strike, GEO members were furious at attempts to force them to accept unpaid furlough days--and were determined to prevent the university from taking away the tuition waivers that make it possible for them to attend school.

When the strike began November 16, scores of graduate employees who had never been union members joined the picket line and signed union cards on the spot. The rallies were loud and militant, the classrooms mostly silent for lack of instructors and students. After two days, the university caved and granted the strikers' key demands.

Meanwhile, hotel workers in San Francisco carried out two three-day strikes at the Grand Hyatt and Palace Hotels in November as part of a contract fight against 31 hotels in the city. Hotel workers, members of the UNITE HERE union, face similar struggles in Chicago, Boston and Los Angeles.

The strike actions and victories are important enough in themselves. But there's reason to believe that these strikes are an indication of widespread anger among labor's rank and file that's also found expression in voting results in union elections and contract concessions.

That's the conclusion of union activists at Ford, where workers defied an all-out effort from UAW officials to ram through acceptance of huge contract concessions similar to those already approved at Chrysler and General Motors. The concessions would have frozen pay for new hires at $14 per hour--already just half the pay of current workers--for six years. The agreement would have banned strikes and sent wage disputes in 2011 to binding arbitration.

But UAW leaders, who had used the financial crisis to get the concessions at GM and Chrysler, found themselves facing an unprecedented rebellion that saw local union officials defy them--something unseen in the UAW in decades. When the vote totals were announced November 1, the concessions were rejected by a 3-1 margin. The workers' suspicions were vindicated a day later when Ford announced a $1 billion profit for the quarter.

"They say we only lose the right to strike over improvements in wages and benefits. But that's what people want the right to strike for," Eric Truss, a worker at Ford's Dearborn Diversified manufacturing plant, wrote to a UAW Local 600 rank-and-file newsletter. "I campaigned for 'No,' so my co-workers are telling me to run for [union] office."

Another rebellion against concessions in an important union--the International Longshoremen's Association--didn't succeed when votes were tallied last month. But the campaign for a "no" vote on a two-year contract concession highlighted the growing success of the Longshore Workers Coalition (LWC), a union reform group.

The LWC in previous months forced the ILA leadership to back off a plan that would have suspended a pay increase October 1. But leaders of the East and Gulf Coast dockworkers' union gave shipping bosses what they wanted through other means--a contract that will cut payments to the workers' health care funds and royalty fees that boost compensation.

To sell the deal, ILA leaders finally got employers to agree to bring lower-tier workers' wages up to top levels of pay--but only after nine years. It was the promise of a higher wage in the short term that allowed the concessions to go through, said Ken Riley, president of ILA Local 1422 in Charleston, S.C. "They designed something for tough economic times, and dangled it in front of rank-and-file members," he said. "It's hard to vote against a $2 to $3 per hour raise"--even if it will take nine years for lower-tier workers to reach top pay.

But the reformers made the notoriously conservative and corrupt ILA leadership sweat in order to get the deal through. "I'm very pleased by what the LWC accomplished," said Riley, who became nationally known in the labor movement in 2000-2002 in the successful struggle to defend the Charleston Five, dockworkers who were put under house arrest for walking a legal picket line. "We've got a lot to be proud of," said Riley. "But we weren't focusing on this to send a message, but to vote it down and do a better job."

THE IDEA that unions should be doing a better job was also on the minds of workers in New York City in two powerful union locals.

Members of the 38,000-member TWU Local 100, which represents subway and bus workers, voted to put the Take Back Our Union (TBOU) coalition in control of the union in election results released this month. The election of TBOU marks a revival of union reform sentiment in the local, where workers voted in 2000 to elect Roger Toussaint on the New Directions slate.

Toussaint, a onetime leftist militant, turned into a heavy-handed bureaucrat--and his poor leadership in the illegal, two-day transit strike of 2005 undermined his base of support. Toussaint was briefly jailed in the aftermath of the walkout, and the union's finances were decimated when a judge barred the practice of automatic union dues deduction from paychecks. Facing likely defeat in the current election, Toussaint moved upstairs to the TWU International, and TBOU won election on a program of rebuilding the union.

Just as the TBOU victory was announced, word came that reformers aligned with Teamster for a Democratic Union (TDU) won election in New York's Teamsters Local 804, the main local representing UPS workers in the city.

The reformers' win was all the more sweet because the 7,000-member Local 804 was the home local of the late former Teamsters president, Ron Carey, who was expelled from the union on trumped-up charges in the wake of the Teamsters' 1997 strike victory at UPS. Since then, the local has been aligned with Teamsters President Jim Hoffa. But for rank-and-file members, a concessionary deal on Local 804's most recent contract with UPS was the last straw.

Does all this stirring in the ranks make a trend? Only time--and struggle--will tell. But what's clear is that there's something going on in the union rank and file that those record-low strike statistics don't show.

I am asking that anyone who believes that the sex offender laws need to be reformed so that only the dangerous sex offenders need to be under these laws to sign a petetion. There are many familes who are in my situtation and who are suffering the consequences of humiliation and unjust because they have a loved one who is not a threat to children but are listed in the same category as rapist and pedophiles. At 18 my husband had mutual sex with a 17 year old in college. They met at a party and the 17 year old portrayed herself as a college student at that time. They got comfortable with each other and had sex. The party got raided and they got caught. The police took in my husband and from there the state picked up his case because the girl did not want to press charges. Because alcohol was involved with their meeting, my husband was convicted of 5 years probation and community service. After his five year term of community service, he was supposed to have been released from his conviction and be done with it. However, when they passed the laws to make all sex offenders register for life, he got grandfathered into it and is now experiencing the unjust and humiliating actions that come with it when people find out that he is a sex offender. I have been married to my husband for 13 years and we have three children, a two year old, a 9 year old and a 14 year old. I can assure you that he is not a threat to children or society. We have lived in a couple of cities and have never had a problem with choosing where we want to live because he is not considered a pedophile or a threat. However, we recently moved to another state and have been told that he can't live or work within 2000 ft of a school, a daycare, or a college. Well, we only moved there because he got a job transfer for a great career opportunity. Unfortunately, his job is near a school and so is the house that we are living in. He is being forced to quit his career and move away from his home. Because of this, it is putting a strain on our family and we may need to move back to Texas because of this. He is currently staying in another place that is not 2000ft from a school and our family is having a hard time with this. I do not see the justice in this and how this is making society a better and safer place. Yes, I do want to know where the high threat sex offenders are for the sake of my own kids and they should be registered for life. But not someone such as my husband who did what so many college students do at that age (have mutual sex) nor has he repeated his offense again. He has proven to be no threat to society. How can they label him in the same category as those who are a threat? In addition to that, the girl was 17 years old, not 7. She knew what she was doing. How can they say that it is against the law for a 17 year old to choose to have consensual sex with an 18 year old, but it is okay for her to make the decision drop out of school.

Russian Military Analysts are reporting to Prime Minister Putin that US President Barack Obama has issued orders to his Northern Command�s (USNORTHCOM) top leader, US Air Force General Gene Renuart, to �begin immediately� increasing his military forces to 1 million troops by January 30, 2010, in what these reports warn is an expected outbreak of civil war within the United States before the end of winter.

According to these reports, Obama has had over these past weeks �numerous� meetings with his war council about how best to manage the expected implosion of his Nations banking system while at the same time attempting to keep the United States military hegemony over the World in what Russian Military Analysts state is a �last ditch gambit� whose success is �far from certain�.

And to Obama�s �last ditch gambit�, these reports continue, he is to announce in a nationwide address to his people this coming week that he is going to expand the level of US Military Forces in Afghanistan by tens of thousands of troops, while at the same time using the deployment of these soldiers as a �cover� for returning to the United States over 200,000 additional American soldiers from the over 800 bases in over 39 countries they have stationed around the Globe bringing the level of these forces in America to over 1 million, a number the US Military believes will be able to contain the �explosion of violence� expected to roil these peoples when they learn their economy has been bankrupted.
These reports further state that at the same time Obama will be attempting to keep his Nation from violent disintegration, the tens of thousands of additional troops he will send to Afghanistan are to be ordered to Kandahar where the Americans and their NATO allies will begin their final attempt to secure their TAPI (Turkmenistan, Afghanistan, Pakistan and India) pipeline, which without the Western Nations, due to their grave lack of alternative energy resources, and being cut off from these vast Central Asian supplies (which both Russia and China are seeking to insure), are warned will totally collapse.
Making the American�s (and by extension the West�s) situation even worse are new reports coming from the International Energy Agency stating that �under pressure� from the US government they have been �deliberately underplaying� a looming Global oil shortage for fear of triggering panic buying and raising the Americans fear over the end of oil supremacy because it would threaten their power over access to our World�s last remaining oil resources.
To the scariest �end game� maneuvers being made by Obama, in his attempt to protect Americas Global hegemony, is his record shattering move in plunging the United States $3.5 Trillion further into debt, and which raises the total amount owed by the United States, to its citizens and the World, to the unprecedented height of over $106 Trillion.
So alarming has Obama�s actions become (especially since they are being imitated by all of the Western powers) that the managing-director of the International Monetary Fund (IMF), Dominique Strauss-Kahn, warned this past week that the �stimulus actions� of the West (which in essence is nothing more than the printing of money with nothing to back it up) has now become a �threat to democracy� as millions of people are expected to erupt in violence against their governments over the theft of their money and their futures.
Most unfortunately for the American people though is that this IMF warning fell on �deaf ears� in the United States with the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis President, James Bullard, saying this week that the US would continue its �stimulus actions� because they �would give more flexibility to US policymakers�, a most absurd statement especially when viewed in the light of the unprecedented debt payments currently looming over the American economy they have no ability whatsoever to pay.
To the ability of the West�s banking giants to save their Nation�s economies, even worse news came this week with the US ratings giant Standards & Poors issuing a warning that �every single bank in Japan, the US, Germany, Spain, and Italy included in S&P�s list of 45 Global lenders remain unsafe�, a warning which then lead to one of Europe�s largest banks, Soci�t� G�n�rale, warning its clients to prepare for a �total Global Economic Collapse�.
To the fears of Obama over the United States erupting into civil war once the full extent of the rape and pillaging of these peoples by their banks and government becomes known to them, grim evidence now shows the likelihood of this occurring much sooner than later, especially in new poll figures showing that Obama�s approval rating among white Americans has now fallen to 39%. A number made more significant when one realizes that the white population of the United States comprises 74% of their estimated 398 million citizens, or put more ominously in these reports as �over 220 million American people armed to the teeth and ready to explode�.
And so fearful has the white population of the United States become that upon the election of Obama to the Presidency he was named as the �Gun Salesman of the Year� by the Outdoor Wire, the US�s largest daily electronic news service for the outdoor industry, who report �panic buying� of weapons and ammunition by those fearful of the destruction of their country at the hands of man they believe is not even an American citizen and had been foisted upon them by their elite classes seeking to enslave them.
Though the coming civil war in the United States is being virtually ignored by their propaganda media, the same cannot be said of Russia, where leading Russian political analyst, Professor Igor Panarin has long warned that the economic turmoil in the United States has confirmed his long-held view that the US is heading for collapse, and will divide into separate parts.
Professor Igor Panarin further stated in his warning that �the US Dollar is not secured by anything. The country�s foreign debt has grown like an avalanche, even though in the early 1980s there was no debt. By 1998, when I first made my prediction, it had exceeded $2 trillion. Now it is more than 11 trillion. This is a pyramid that can only collapse.�
What remains to be seen, and these reports do not speculate upon, is if the citizen-soldiers of the United States will fire upon and kill their fellow countrymen during the coming conflict, but if history is to be our guide clearly shows this will be the case as the once great American Nation continues its headlong plunge into the abyss of history. May God have mercy upon all of them.

Doing the right thing here is not an option. Anyone the CO suspects is on to her she destroys, humiliates or forces them out. We have no direction or leadership. It is good that Cleveland is a slow port or maybe that is the reason the people who are here are here and not somewhere else.

We are staffed with too many immature junior offiers who are I guess married to other Coast Guard members who really have no real practial Coast Guard experience we have a guy who is in a GS 12 senior marine inspector billet who had never performed inspections before while on active duty. We have 2 other gs-12 civilians who cannot stand even coming to work. The enlisted force is not trained and under qualified. We worry more about cleaning the carpet and restrooms than actully knowing our jobs.

I hope we never ever really have to respond to any kind of real emergency I think we would be in trouble.

"Don't ask don't tell" is just an expression invented by corrupt politicians probably Barney Franks it is not legal , military language. It means let's do something illegal against the Uniform Code of Military Justice and then we will cover it up. They don't ask and of course we won't tell. Isn't that the best way to commit a crime or break the rules to have a policy in place that prevents officals from asking about unbecoming behavior.

That kind of behavior is dishonest and dishonorable. If you are in the Coast Guard and are willingly violating the rules and worse by trying to force your sick habits on your subordinates you will be found out and held accountable, don't be mistaken.
