Let me start off by saying that this is a bit strange for me. lol
I am a 24yr old female from garfield heights that due to a series of unfortunate events has been placed in the position of leaving the nest and venturing out into the real world lol. I am in the process of looking for an apartment, some where in or near the Parma/North Royalton area possibly lakewood. I am looking for something relatively cheap but not some where I have to be scared to live in. The deal would be hopefully meet and get to know the person.. male or female.. I have an interesting personality, very funny and sarcastic and honestly sometimes some people don't care for that. I have a full time job and expect the same from a potential roommate. I do believe there has to be some shared interests to live so closely together. House hold furniture would be provided but yours would also be welcomed. The rent and utilities would be split down the middle... as would household chores... And ... I love to cook ...so if we split on groceries I would be happy to prepare the meals.
I wouldn't mind company being brought to the apt as long as they were savory characters...and the same goes for a potential roomy. I don't mind drinking but no drugs please, also I am not a smoker... 3rd floor furnished apt [650 square feet] in my 3 family house. I will let you live free in exchange for 18 hrs/wk of work around my house to include walking the dogs, keeping the place clean, possibly some cooking and helping me with paperwork and organization.

Here's the downside - it gets really hot up there and only the bedroom has a window A/C, you would have to park about a 4 minute walk away, there is a fancy old fashion type bathtub but no shower and the Shaker Heights' Zoning only allows one person to live there and prohibits cooking so there is no kitchen. Will need to pay 1/2 utilities and provide a $300 security deposit. References will be checked.

It's a 3 bedroom, 2 bath, attic/basement, 2 washers/dryers (1 set is brand new/ HE/ front loading, the other is 3 years old), small yard, newly remodeled, including fully redone electric. Both bedrooms have large, semi-walkin closets. One room has a balcony off of it.

Ohio City is a trendy/ neat area with a local market (the Westside market) and many restaurants/ bars, etc. There is a rapid stop nearby.

Rent is $300/month and 1/3 of gas and electric. Electric while living alone has been 12-15/month year round and gas is 10-180 (coldest winter month). Cable internet is included. I currently do not pay for satellite/ cable TV (I just watch online) but would be happy to split that or anything else with roommate(s). This looks close to railroad tracks on the map, but it's not - the tracks are in a valley and you can never really hear trains (occasionally very faintly).
