Candidates MUST HAVE sales experience AND heavy medical background SPECIFIC to wounds dressing & adhesives. A minimum of 60%+ overnight travel a must. Bachelor's degree required plus at least 3 years solid experience. These are MUSTS.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 3 - 6 or more years related medical experience required
- Demonstrated successful experience in a business development position (medical device sales/product marketing) that involved negotiating complex transactions with upper-level management positions or similar experience required.
- A minimum of 60%+ overnight travel a must.
- B2B (business to business) experience required. Also prior experience with managing programs/process within various departments within large organization such as marketing, R & D, supply chain, etc.
- Skilled in developing sales penetration and growth strategies at targeted accounts. Proficient in assessing customer needs.
- Excellent negotiation, financial, mathematical, and business acumen skills required(Prior experience working with margins and maybe even P & L)
- Skilled in communicating effectively with all levels of management on complex business issues.
- Skilled in preparing professional written proposals.
- Thorough understanding of product and technical information (medical - ex. wound dressings)
- Project Management experience a plus
- Excellent customer service skills is an absolute must.
- Excellent oral, written and presentation skills a must.
- Understanding of applicable computer systems, such as Microsoft Office, Lotus Notes, and function specific software.
- Strong ability to work as part of a team.
- Bachelor's degree required
