Ability to diagnose software and hardware problems effectively.  Analyzes, identifies, and solves customer equipment problems in accordance with established performance standards. <br>

Responsible for logging service calls on Epicor and recording related pertinent information.<br>
<br>
Dispatches calls to field engineers when on-site repair activity is required.<br>
<br>
Work closely with distributors on parts orders, RMAs, and technical assistance.<br>
<br>
Notify customers on status of SLAs prior to dispatching an Arrow engineer.<br>
<br>
Collect PO or other billing authorization on time and material calls.<br>
<br>
On-site installations and support required when needed. Overnight travel is involved.<br>
<br>
Assist customers on the configuration and programming of Arrow equipment.<br>
<br>
Technical training on Arrow equipment for distributors and new employees.<br>
<br>
Demonstrate Arrow equipment for customer visits.<br>
<br>
Assist on writing technical manuals and web updates for new equipment.<br>
<br>
Exceed customer satisfaction objectives as outlined by Arrow management.<br>
<br>
Recommends and executes appropriate solutions in a timely manner.<br>

Responsible for promptly following up with customers when needed.<br>

PREREQUISITES<br>
<br>
Minimum of 3 years training or commensurate experience in electronic technology.<br>
<br>
Strong analytical skills are imperative when troubleshooting technical problems.<br>
<br>
Working knowledge of electronic products and services.<br>
<br>
Ability to read schematics and technical manuals.<br>
<br>
Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude.<br>
<br>
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.<br>
<br>
Strong customer relation and phone skills.<br>
<br>
Must be self-motivated to work independently without direct supervision.<br>
<br>
Effective planning and organizational skills to efficiently manage time and call load.<br>
<br>
Competency in various software applications including MS Office.<br>

PREFERRED<br>

Previous help-desk experience.<br>

Prior experience in supporting electronic gaming devices.<br>

Certification and 2 or more years of commensurate experience in RF technologies.<br>

The duties of the Information Systems Technician include but are not limited to maintaining the Mental Health Services network and information systems across several sites within Cuyahoga County.  Administers and controls organization data resources. Uses repeatable practices to ensure data availability, integrity and security, recover corrupted data and eliminate data redundancy.<br>
<br>
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS  <br>

1.	Install, configure and maintain servers.<br>
2.	Install, configure and maintain server-side applications.<br>
3.	Provide users and systems with technical support as needed.<br>
4.	Complete setup, installation, configuration, operation, and provide support of desktop hardware.<br>
5.	Manages company printing resources and assists in their effective use.<br>
6.	Provide support to company employees requiring technical assistance related to hardware and software.<br>
7.	Log and document support/resolution tickets.<br>
8.	Communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, using tact and discretion, and responding to questions, comments and complaints from internal and external customers in a calm, professional manner.<br>
9.	Willing and able to assist users and maintain systems evenings and weekends when necessary.<br>
10.	Monitor and manage backups and restore operations.<br>

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS <br>

Education, Training and/or Experience<br>

1.	Bachelor degree in Computer Science or Information Technology or a minimum of 4 years relevant work experience may be considered.<br>
2.	Experience in Windows XP, Windows 2003, Windows 2008 and Thin Client Operating Systems<br>
3.	Experience in server side applications and services such as DHCP, AD, IIS, MSSQL, Exchange, Apache, and Nagios.<br>
4.	Experience with the installation, configuration and performance tuning of the following applications: MS Office and Symantec Corporate Antivirus.<br>
5.	Experience with networking concepts, standards, and knowledge of LAN/Telecom structured wiring.<br>
6.	Valid Ohio driver’s license with less than six points and proof of automobile insurance, adhering to the minimum requirements of Ohio’s Financial Responsibility Act.<br>
7.	CPR certification plus First Aid and non-violent physical crisis intervention training (within 60 days of hire).<br>
