We are a Restaurant Point-of-Sale software dealership with offices in Mentor, OH and Scottsdale, AZ. We install touch-screen computer systems in restaurants and bars as well as provide phone and on-site technical support for these systems. We are a small company and require a self-motivated, multi-talented person who is willing and able to perform various jobs around the office.<br>
<br>
The primary focus will be providing phone support to customers using remote access tools to troubleshoot, as well as on-site support when it is required. Fuel expenses are reimbursed based on mileage. We offer 24-hr support to our customers, but any after-hours on-site work is paid an additional hourly rate.<br>
<br>
The person will have to learn various functions of the restaurant software including taking orders, programming menu layouts, and managerial functions. They will also be responsible for various office duties such as billing and collections. The person must work well with others and be able to patiently help customers with technical problems, especially those with little or no knowledge of computers.<br>
<br>
Requirements:<br>
 40 hrs/wk  9:00am-6:00pm M-F<br>
 After-hours phone support (paid, on a rotating schedule)<br>
 Must live within 20 miles of Mentor office<br>
 30% Travel<br>
 Must have reliable transportation and a clean driving record.<br>

Qualifications:<br>

We are a Restaurant Point-of-Sale software dealership with offices in Mentor, OH and Scottsdale, AZ. We install touch-screen computer systems in restaurants and bars as well as provide phone and on-site technical support for these systems. We are a small company and require a self-motivated, multi-talented person who is willing and able to perform various jobs around the office.<br>
<br>
The primary focus will be providing phone support to customers using remote access tools to troubleshoot, as well as on-site support when it is required. Fuel expenses are reimbursed based on mileage. We offer 24-hr support to our customers, but any after-hours on-site work is paid an additional hourly rate.<br>
 <br>
The person will have to learn various functions of the restaurant software including taking orders, programming menu layouts, and managerial functions. They will also be responsible for various office duties such as billing and collections. The person must work well with others and be able to patiently help customers with technical problems, especially those with little or no knowledge of computers.<br>
	<br>
Requirements:<br>
	40 hrs/wk  9:00am-6:00pm M-F<br>
	After-hours phone support (paid, on a rotating schedule)<br>
	Must live within 20 miles of Mentor office<br>
	30% Travel<br>
	Must have reliable transportation and a clean driving record.<br>
	Must have background in Windows 98-XP as well as PC hardware and networking.<br>
	Must pass background check<br>
	Must be self-motivated and organized<br>
	Must work well with others and be patient with customers on the phone<br>

Overview:<br>
The person in this position is required to speak and write fluent Japanese and will perform technical applications programming work to provide support for client computer/software systems and users. Responsibilities:<br>

	Provides troubleshooting, problem correction, assistance and instruction to client staff remotely to resolve software problems or to generally support the clients use of the MSDgen software.  Determines client needs; recommends and implements solutions to ensure minimum delay and effective operation for system users. <br>
	Develops, maintains and updates technical documentation such as system configurations, procedures, problem fixes and client support procedures. Develops, updates and distributes user instructional documentation as needed. <br>
	Install the MSDgen software product(s) on client systems both remotely and on-site.  Installations include upgrades of existing systems and any corresponding client training.<br>
	Provides work performance input to supervisor. <br>
	Performs other related duties as required or assigned. <br>
	Travel to Japan 4-6 times per year will be required.  <br>
Qualifications:<br>
	Considerable knowledge of computer systems, office automation and Windows software applications.<br>
	Proficient with SQL<br>
	Must speak and write fluent Japanese.<br>
	Ability to troubleshoot common software problems.<br>
	Ability to maintain and be responsible for certain company equipment such as notebooks, PDAs and cell phones.<br>
