Rare collectible Louis Hanson Company antique barber chair. The chair is estimated to date back to the early 1900s roughly between the years 1918-1920. With its original black leather seat and white porcelain arms down to its original crafted foot rest. The original handle is still in working condition which allows it to lean backwards, often used when barbers performed steam towel facials and shaves. The chair is in astounding shape for its age. Passed down from my grandmother to my mother it has sat in our living room for over 25 yrs. Asking price is 2,500. Appraised at the high end of 5,000. I’ve seen a similar model go for 3,500 this year. Will negotiate.
