Many recent repairs and updates to this horizontal grinder. We have had this unit for 4 years and it has served our needs as a start-up compost and mulch processing site. We use this to grind brush, woodchips, leaves and other yard wastes.
John Deere 6125 engine- completely rebuilt last January by Bay Tractor-FIC John Deere dealership- receipts over $40K in parts and labor
Rebuilt entire mill with new hammers and inserts this past Winter- only about 100 hours since rebuilt- Parts alone were over $10K
Rebuilt and installed new wear plates in the feed housing
New hydraulic motors and cylinder and hoses
Well maintained unit that really just needs paint and a new owner!
Remote works well, autofeed is currently disabled but can be working again easily.
Actual production is based on many factors- but we ground about 260-310 yards per hour of dry leaves this Winter
Brush is about 120-180 YPH
Primary wood to final mulch at 1.5" round screens is about 120-140 YPH
Primary wood to final mulch at 2" screens is about 130-160 YPH
Must run two loaders to obtain these figures.
See these for processing videos:
I have more videos also of it running.
She really just needs some paint which we could also do, I just don't have time right now to do it!

I have manual and a file of information on it. 2002 Gruendler by Terex, same as a bandit beast basically.
