This 1950s Ideal Toy Corp. Turbo-Jet Car Wind-Up Rocket Race Car Toy is approximately 11.25" x 5.25" x 4” and the Launching Platform is approximately 11.5 x 5" x 4.5". The car measures about 11 1/4 x 5 1/4 x 3 1/2 inches. It is made of color litho on molded plastic with black "rubber" tires and metal accents. Slight damage to the tip of the nose and one wing was repaired some time ago and it seems to have stayed secure (see photos). The launching platform" measures about 11 x 5 x 4 1/2 and has a hand crank on the back. It is color litho on tin. The car zooms away when it is cranked and the release button is pushed.
