Don't know anything about 6-volt systems. My car sat in storage for 4 years. Decided to sell it because I'm downsizing. Got a new battery, solenoid, brought starter to a classic starter specialist and it's perfect. Just can't get it to turn over. That's why I'm selling for 1/2 what they go for. No rust body, no rust frame ( painted)
