The grill is spotless and the cabinet is also excellent. All speakers are in excellent condition. The Model FS-4000 is a high-performance loudspeaker designed to integrate all three front channel speakers in a single enclosure, suitable for modern flat-screen displays. The unit integrates LCR (Left, Center, Right) speakers into one slim design, The unit is shielded and therefore designed for close placement to monitors without interference. The FS-4000 features acoustic controls to optimize performance based on room acoustics. The FS-4000 can be mounted directly to the wall with keyhole mounts, as well as positioned on a cabinet or in wall shadow box. More About This Unit: When Atlantic Technologies released this unit in late 2005, it had rave reviews. It was was sold for about 5 years. The Retail price was $999. The market moved to "powered speaker bars" in the late 2000's, and so did Atlantic. This is a great unit for a smaller space or as a second systems etc. Interestingly, it can be used as a single speaker with a 2 Channel or 3 channel receiver as well.

Rear Panel Controls and Acoustic Adjustments: HF Energy High Frequency switch position controls or adjusts tweeter output based on room acoustics, and Boundary Compensation switch helps adjust lower frequency output based on speaker placement. Experiment with settings to find the best sound for your room.
System Setup with and without Subwoofer - When using a subwoofer, all speakers should be set to "Small" in the receiver's setup menu, with a recommended crossover frequency of around 80Hz. If no subwoofer is used, the FS-4000 can still deliver high-quality sound by adjusting the receiver settings accordingly. For setups without a subwoofer, adjust receiver settings to enhance front channel sound.
