John Deere B - Starts & Runs Nice. This is overall a pretty nice John Deere B. Starts right up, new battery, all gears work. You could use it around the farm as is or its a great restoration candidate. Please note the battery cover is included - it is hanging on the back of it - I lost the bolts for it. There are a couple of flaws that are easy fixes on this. The battery cable end needs fixed - if you are coming for this please bring your own vise grips as I need the one that's on there back. The right tire loses air through the wheel. It goes flat in about 45 minutes. I am going to take it to see if it can be repaired but they may not want to mess with because the tire is pretty old. The fuel system is fine but there is some stuff in the tank. I empty the bowl when I run the tractor but the tank should be flushed and cleaned.
