You're buying this as is for parts or repair. You can use it like it is and just sticking your garage. If you don't mind to let tad bit of a smell or you can look into repairing the burnt smell and it might just be the burn off smell. I'm not sure at this point regardless you're still buying it as is for parts or repair

This works just fine like it should in fact it's powerful enough to heat your whole place just has a tad bit of a smell maybe it's the new burn off smell I don't think it is it needs looked at

220 volt plug 240 garage heater and indoor & outdoor heater both. This is high powered 3600 w. I used it for all of about 2 hours so it's still literally new. I paid almost $100 for it. Price firm
Upon research, it's common with this model. It seems to have some sort of a plastic smell and I don't think it's the burn off from initial brand new use. Upon research, it looks like other people have the same issue with the plastic smell coming from the control panel. So experienced people have opened the control panel up real quick, taking about 5 minutes and remove the plastic piece inside. And then it's like new again.
(I turned it on few weeks ago and no smell. So I think it happens when it gets hott)
For repair. As/is.
This is well worth spending a few minutes on. An electrician or electronics person could have this fixed in 5 minutes I've read. That's even if it really needs fixed I'm right. Really sure at this point anymore. But you're buying it as is.
So prefer somebody who knows what they're doing.
