This is a twin sized therapeutic mattresses used for the prevention and treatment of pressure ulcers. It is excellent for bedridden patients or elder care.
The 3-dimensional core design provides anatomically-calibrated levels of support and immersion throughout surface with two-way heel protection which cradles the heel and redistributes pressure to more pressure-tolerant lower legs. The firm perimeter provides edge-of-bed stability.
The stretch cover is fluid-resistant, antimicrobial, tear-resistant and wipes clean with standard hospital-grade cleansers.
The original cost was over $600 and it was only used for six months by a dementia patient. It's like new and it has an 8 year warranty.
