I have two roles in mind. I would be happy to have a lead carpenter or a two man carpenter crew to execute deck building for me. This person or team might be someone who is currently running an independent business or would like to be running there own business in a few years. Secondly, I would also like to hire someone who currently has skills and would like to build their experience on the job. This person must be willing and able to do or assist with all types of interior and exterior construction. You are a person who gets satisfaction creating, building, and fixing. You want an opportunity to develop your skills across carpentry, electrical, plumbing, painting, plastering, ... You have enough experience in one or more areas of construction that you know you are able to work a 40hr week without regular excuses. You are responsible and have a car.
I run a small contracting company providing a variety of services. Our usual work includes decking and remodeling. I'm happy to discuss a fair wage for your skill and effort. Most people who work for me earn $18 to $30/hour. At $25+ an hour you have experience, you are reliable, and you can work independantly on several types of jobs.
