Custom John Dell’Isola Island Series VI Guitar. John is an accomplished luthier located in Florida who is partially known for an 8 string guitar he built Misha Mansoor of Periphery. This is a $5k, all hand crafted build, featuring claro walnut top, solid mahogany core, African wenge back. Maple neck, bloodwood board, African wenge binding, brass sideboard markers. Sweet neck! The neck is satin smooth , with medium thickness. EXCEPTIONAL action/playability. Bare Knuckle pickups - Cold Sweat in neck, War Pig Ceramic in bridge.Top of the line gotoh tuners. Schaller high-mass roller bridge. John built this guitar for a client in Lexington, Kentucky who had Travis Walker of JW Van guitars do the final fit-up and some finish work. This is an exceptional instrument that sounds and plays as good as it looks.
