This beautiful vintage 4/4 size 1950 violin is made in Germany by Karl Hermann. Expertly restored and professionally maintained, this instrument is perfect for the dedicated high school student looking to improve their sound and technique, or an adult player looking for a quality violin. Vintage violins are typically better than modern instruments in this price range, as the sound has had more time to open up and is crafted with a higher quality. This violin is very easy to play and has exceptional sound, perfect for shifting high on the E string. It has a rare one piece back with stunning maple flaming and brand new Dominant strings.
Comes with a restoration letter from the luthier who restored it. The value of this violin is $2200. Comes with vintage case but you'll probably want to use a modern case for long term daily use.
You are welcome to come try it out for sound. Please bring your own bow for making sure your bow is a good compliment for this violin. I do not have any bows for sale at this time. Cash only. Pickup in Westlake.
