Guitarist/singer/keyboard player looking to form a new band that mines the 60s/70s vein of classic rock (especially psychedelia, broadly defined).
I'm no virtuoso, but I am a well-seasoned experienced player and singer (age 57, but with plenty of musical spunk).
I play both electric and acoustic guitar, have decent lead vocals on the border of baritone and tenor, and limited but very creative keyboard ability. I'm fairly skilled at harmony vocals as well.
Looking for bass, drums, keyboards, and odd instruments (horns, woodwinds, strings, etc). No beginners, please... looking for players with some skill and some knowledge of music theory, etc. Vocals, either lead or harmony, are a huge plus! (esp. female vocal or male who can sing high harmonies).
Looking to form a truly interesting band that can tackle some more obscure classic covers, and also dabble in some original music (I do compose music, but I'm not so good at lyrics).
Let's jam and see what transpires!
