Randstad is seeking a Payroll Clerk to join the dynamic, fast-growing team at one of our clients in the Solon Ohio area. This role consists of supporting the Payroll department in a variety of responsibilities, including data entry, reconciliation of timecards, paycheck distribution and providing statements to various departments. This position is Temporary and Part time 24 hours a week.
Responsibilities: - Review employee time information from timekeeping system for accuracy and completeness, and follow up on missing or unapproved timesheets - Set up new employees and ensure employee data is complete and accurate - Assist employees with payroll questions and issues - Assist with special projects, as requested
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Skills: - Attention to detail and proven ability to follow standard procedures is a requirement
- Ability to easily learn new systems
- Efficient in Payroll software
- Expertise in Microsoft Excel
- Payroll experience desired
- Previous payroll experience
- Highly organized and self-motivated
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Education: High School
Qualifications: 2+ years payroll experience with working knowledge of a variety of software packages including SAP, Kronos and Excel.
